STUDENT PERFORMANCE IN EMERGENCY REMOTE LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT IN SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING TRAINING

چکیده

The paper covers some issues of student performance in Simultaneous Interpreting modules during the emergency remote training March – June 2020 when many universities around world had to switch quickly online synchronous training. was chosen for this research since existing IT platforms are not sufficient view complexity simultaneous interpreting which requires special equipment and availability two channels communication. explores main challenges facing trainers students they move teaching learning assesses classes final examinations or assessments. study is based on qualitative methods guided by grounded theory engaged 17 teachers 24 at seven modules. results showed that did have any significant impact their assessment remaining part module. Academic teams came up with a number innovative solutions teaching, should be studied further order develop effective tools could used future.
